Exploring nutrition to live better

Advocating good health through good eating has always been one of the goals at Mugaritz. This includes studying nutrition and exploring ways to improve the quality of life as we age, and even prevent disease.
In April 2016, Andoni Luis Aduriz was selected to sit on the recently created Tufts Nutrition Council (TNC), a group of international experts under the auspices of the Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy and the Jean Mayer Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging. Together, the two research centres make up TUFTS Nutrition.
In November that same year Andoni and the team at Mugaritz went to Boston for a fundraiser dinner, prepared with the cooks at Loyal Nine, to support healthy aging and nutritional research. This time they met up with an old friend, José María Ordovás, expert in nutrition and genomics. Together, they began to work on future projects in the area of nutrition and healthy aging.
