This year Mugaritz is playing its part in the fight to help end hunger. It has joined a group of twelve of the world’s most prestigious restaurants to work in conjunction with Farm Africa’s Twelve Days of Christmas Auction. Mugaritz has donated a dining experience for two to be auctioned at Farm Africa’s specially created microsite www.foodforgoodauction.org. Bidding for Mugaritz opens on 2 December and runs for twelve days before closing 12 December.

The other eleven participating restaurants, like Mugaritz, are all listed in the prestigious San Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2014.

The Twelve Days of Christmas Auction is inspired by the idea that food is both a precious resource and has the ability to bring people together. Mugaritz will play their part in disseminating this idea by giving diners the opportunity to purchase an exceptional dinner and at the same time raising funds to support Farm Africa’s efforts to tackle one of the world’s most pressing problems: hunger.
