With one foot in gastronomy and the other in culture, economics, philosophy, literature and science,

since 2015 Andoni Luis Aduriz has been contributing articles on food culture and cuisine in every other issue of El País Semanal, the weekly supplement in the Sunday issue of El País, Spain's highest-circulation daily paper.

The articles feature a combination of recipes and reflections on subjects such as food trends, the relationship between food and health, the globalization of ingredients, the importance of textures, and building cultural identity through traditional foods.
