<\/p>\n\n\n\n The story of the Manila Galleon was the greatest commercial adventure the world had ever seen and the trigger for the first globalisation of the world economy. The main architects were two Guipuzcoans: Andr\u00e9s de Urdaneta, who found the return route for all Asian trade to America in 1565, and Miguel L\u00f3pez de Legazpi, who was in charge of establishing all the trade logistics.
