Andoni Luis Aduriz cocina para combatir el desperdicio de comida en Refettorio Gastromotiva

Andoni Luis Aduriz has joined Refettorio Gastromotiva, where he has cooked with the surplus food of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games for people in social vulnerable situation. 

Refettorio Gastromotiva is an initiative brought to Brazil by chefs Massimo Bottura (Food for Soul), David Hertz (Gastromotiva) and by the journalist Ale Forbes to contribute to fighting food waste, malnutrition and social exclusion.

Launched during the olympic games, it works as a restaurant-school with invited chefs and young talents from Gastromotiva cooking with surplus ingredients. They offer free dinner for vulnerable populations and, from October on, lunch for the the public.
