    They are the essential elements of one of the most famous Basque sports, Basque handball or eskupilota. The ball is thrown to the wall of the court called frontón. It is made of wood and rubber using the antique manufacturing techniques. The hardness and quality of the ball guarantee its rebound and performance.

    Metas are traditional elements of Basque landscapes. They are linked to farming and they also represent the exterior image of Mugaritz. Their function is to store hay in winter.
